My name is Travis Johnson, P.E. I’ve worked in the electric utility industry for 25 years. After realizing that the planet was in trouble, I dedicated my career into fixing the problem.
I deployed Nevada’s first electric vehicle charging network with charging stations scattered across the state in Reno/Carson/Minden/Incline/Sparks/Las Vegas/N. Las Vegas. I spent many days at the University of Nevada, Reno giving presentations about renewable energy, electric vehicles, and sustainable living.
From there I worked on three large scale solar plants totaling 85 million watts – and I’m starting on my fourth. When people tell me that renewable energy is just too expensive – I laugh because I actually know what the cost is. I also have a solid understanding of what it takes to integrate it into the electric grid.
The energy revolution has begun – and I intend to help it succeed.
“What if we clean up our air and water for no good reason?”
Thanks for reading my thoughts.
Travis
